Here at HamCam all utilities are included in your rent. Heating, hot water, electricity, insurance and high speed internet are all included in the price!

Insurance

Hamstead Campus in partnership with Howdens (Endsleigh Insurance) provide contents insurance for up to £10,000 for items kept in your room at HamCam* terms and conditions apply. This insurance provides reassurance for all of our residents and for those wanting to be extra sure, there is an option to extend the policy to include accidental damage cover.

Parking

A limited number of car parking spaces are available for campus residents, subject to availability.  The standard parking charge is from £200 per year or part thereof.  

Cycle storage is also provided on site for students wishing to bring a bike to campus. A £5 refundable deposit is payable for a key to the bike store.

Laundrette

There is a smartphone operated low-cost laundrette located to the rear of Hamstead Hall available for the use of all students at Hamstead Campus.

WiFi Broadband

Once you arrive, you will quickly be able to log on to Glide network with WiFi up to 250Mbs, let your network of family and friends know you have arrived and start to settle into the activities of student life.

WiFi Broadband at up to 250Mbs provided by Glide is included within the rent.

In addition to WiFi in your flat you also have access to the Internet via wired connections which may offer higher speed and via WiFi wireless access points in areas around the campus.
