Hamstead Campus offers all inclusive student accommodation on a leafy secure site 3 miles outside of Birmingham City Centre. Hamstead Campus has regular bus connections to Birmingham City Centre and Birmingham City University's Perry Barr campus.
Hamstead Campus welcomes students from all Universities in Birmingham and has a wide variety of accommodation available to suit Undergraduates, Postgraduates and International Students.
The rent for each room at Hamstead Campus is all inclusive, including heating, hot water, electricity, contents insurance with Endsleigh and 10MB broadband, including IPTV. Student living with no bills!
Hamstead Campus has communal facilities for our students to enjoy including a bar, study room, sports hall, common room, TV room and launderette. There are parking facilities on site and safe areas for bikes to be stored.
Hamstead Campus is a fully secure, gated campus with 24/7 security 52 weeks a year. Hamstead Campus has a regular team of security guards who are on hand 24 hours a day. The Accommodation Services Office at Hamstead Campus is located next to the main entrance to the Hall and provides a key resource for our students. Our team are available to answer any queries, however big or small! Hamstead Campus also has its own cleaning team, who routinely clean the communal areas, the bedrooms however, are the responsibilities of the students!
Hamstead Hall stands at the centre of the Campus and has rooms for over 100 students. Each room comes equipped with a desk, chair, wardrobe, set of drawers, bookshelf, single bed, mattress cover, pillow, lamp and a bin. All rooms also benefit from a free 10 Mb internet connection for up to 3 appliances (laptop, Wii, Xbox etc), IPTV (tv on your laptop through the internet) and an internal phone system which can be used to contact Security, the Accommodation Team or anyone else that lives at Hamstead Campus free of charge. The bathrooms and kitchens in Hamstead Hall are shared between 8 - 12 students with females located on the first floor and males on the ground floor.
Hamstead Campus has 6 blocks of flats which provide a range of all-inclusive accommodation from studios, which are ideal for individuals or couples, 2 bedroom flats for close friends who want their own space, 5 bedroom flats with shared lounges and a flat screen TV and 6 bedroom cluster flats. There is even a self contained house for 12 people available!
